Valentine's Pick a Petal

Here is valentine #2 using the dimensions of 3.5 x 6.2.

The card base is Real Red, covered with Cerise paper (SU retired). The square the is backing the flower is 2.5 x 2.5, and is raised on pop dots.

The small 'love' sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess set A Little Bit of Happiness. I coloured the 'love' using the Real Red marker.

The flower was stamped with Pick A Petal in Versamark on Real Red card stock.

The flowers on the bottom are punched with the Three for You punch box, then brads put through the centre, and then up on pop dots.

This card, and the one from yesterday, and some more that I will show you in the next few days, will be sent to Beate so that she can then forward them on to her husband in Qatar, who will distribute them to soldiers stationed there, so they can then send them to loved ones at home.

If you have some extra Valentine's Day cards laying around, or you want to make some like I did, please go to this post on Beate's blog and help her out.
